## Verified facts

Checked against Worldpay's own documentation on 2026-08-20. Fields absent below are ones Worldpay does not document, not ones we assumed.

| Field | Value |
|---|---|
| Reset starts at | https://serviceportal.worldpay.com/ResetPassword |
| Reset by email | yes |
| The email contains | a code |
| Username accepted | yes |
| Old password required | no |

## Steps

1. **Open Worldpay's password reset page** at https://serviceportal.worldpay.com/ResetPassword. This is where the "Forgot password?" link on the sign-in screen leads.
2. **Enter the email address on the account.** Worldpay also accepts the username. If you are not sure which address that is, search your inboxes for mail from worldpay.com; the inbox holding those messages is the account email.
3. **Enter the verification code** Worldpay emails you.
4. **Choose a strong new password.** 16+ random characters, and never one used anywhere else.
5. **Store it somewhere sealed**: a password manager or encrypted vault, not a note and not a screenshot.

## Common problems

- **Password reset link expires after 24 hours.** The link sent via email to reset your password is valid for only 24 hours from when the email is sent. If you do not reset within 24 hours, you must request a new password reset. (https://support-docs.worldpay.io/support/kb/gg/paymetricassist/reset-pwd-bpp.htm)
- **Password change frequency limit.** Passwords may only be changed once in 24 hours and may not be the same as your last 10 passwords. (https://support-docs.worldpay.io/support/kb/gg/paymetricassist/reset-pwd-bpp.htm)
- **Email address required for password reset.** If you don't have an email address associated with your account, you must contact Worldpay customer services to have one created before you can reset your password. (https://login.worldpay.com/reset-password)

## Doing it automatically

Repass connects to Gmail once, finds the accounts you have, and runs this flow for you in your own browser. Passwords are generated on your device and encrypted before they are stored; Repass also holds a key that can unwrap the vault, so signing in is enough to open it. It pauses and hands over when a site asks for a CAPTCHA or a code.
