1. **Open Tutanota's password reset page** at https://tuta.com/support. This is where the "Forgot password?" link on the sign-in screen leads.
2. **Enter the email address on the account.** If you are not sure which address that is, search your inboxes for mail from tuta.com; the inbox holding those messages is the account email.
3. **Enter the verification code** Tutanota emails you.
4. **Choose a strong new password.** 16+ random characters, and never one used anywhere else.
