## Steps

1. **Open Gettr's password reset page** at https://gettr.com/login. This is where the "Forgot password?" link on the sign-in screen leads.
2. **Enter the email address or phone number on the account.** Gettr also accepts the username. If you are not sure which address that is, search your inboxes for mail from gettr.com; the inbox holding those messages is the account email.
3. **Open the reset email and follow its link.** Links are single-use and short-lived; if nothing arrives in a few minutes, check spam and confirm the address.
