# Repass Terms of Service

Effective 13 August 2026

The agreement between you and Repass. Written to be read.

## What Repass does

Repass connects to your email, identifies services you have accounts with, and runs each service's own forgot-password flow to set a new password, which it stores in a vault encrypted on your device. It is a tool that acts on your instruction and on your behalf.

## Your account and your master password

You are responsible for your master password and your recovery phrase. We cannot reset them and we cannot recover your vault without them, because we cannot decrypt it. Keep the recovery phrase somewhere separate from the device you use Repass on.

You must be at least 16 to use Repass, and you must have the right to access the email account you connect.

## What you agree not to do

Use Repass on an email account or an online account that is not yours, or that you are not authorised to act for. This is the one that matters: the product does something powerful on your behalf, and pointing it at someone else's accounts is not a support issue, it is a misuse of access.

Attempt to break, overload or circumvent the service, its rate limits, or the sites it interacts with.

Resell or redistribute Repass, or use it to build a competing service.

## What we cannot promise

**Resets are best effort.** Repass drives websites it does not control. Sites change their forms, add CAPTCHAs, require a code sent to your phone, or lock an account after unusual activity. When that happens Repass stops and asks you, rather than guessing. Some accounts cannot be reset automatically at all, including accounts with no password because you sign in with Google or Apple.

**We do not guarantee uninterrupted service.** The product is in beta.

**We are not responsible for what a third-party site does** in response to a reset request you asked us to make, including locking or suspending your account there.

## Pricing, trial and cancellation

Repass will cost $15 per month or $140 per year, with a three-day free trial. **Billing is not switched on yet.** Repass is in beta and nothing is currently charged to anyone; we will give at least 30 days' notice, and ask you to enter payment details, before that changes. You will never be charged for a period you did not agree to.

Paid periods are not refunded pro rata when you cancel mid-period; your access continues until the end of the period you paid for. If we materially break something and you paid for it, write to us and we will sort it out.

We will give at least 30 days' notice before any price change affecting you.

## Ending it

You can stop using Repass and delete your account at any time. Deleting your account deletes your encrypted vault, which cannot be undone.

We may suspend an account that is being used in the ways listed under "What you agree not to do", or where we are required to by law. Where we can give notice first, we will.

## Acting on your behalf

When you ask Repass to secure an account, you are authorising it to sign in to that service as you, request a password reset, and set a new password. It does exactly that and nothing else. You are giving a tool permission to act as you on services whose own terms you agreed to, and it is worth knowing that some services' terms restrict automated access. We only ever act on accounts you tell us are yours.

Repass never sends email as you, never deletes anything from your mailbox, and never touches an account you have not asked it to.

## Liability

To the extent the law allows, Repass is provided as is, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We do not exclude liability for anything that cannot lawfully be excluded, including fraud, or death or personal injury caused by negligence.

## Changes to these terms

We will give notice of material changes before they take effect. Continuing to use Repass after that means you accept them.

## The rest of the legal furniture

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still stands. If we do not enforce something immediately, we have not given it up. You may not transfer these terms to someone else; we may transfer them if the business does, and we will tell you. These terms and the privacy policy are the whole agreement between us about Repass.
